Church Promotion
On behalf of citizens of the Gulf Coast who are still suffering as a direct result of Hurricane Katrina, we’d like to thank you in advance for your help in the “Adopt-a-church program.”
Each participating church will act as an “Angel” and adopt an assigned church, or family in the Gulf Coast Region. That church will collect donations from 1000 patrons who will receive a commemorative DVD as a token gift for their love offering. That donation will be sent to a holding bank which will pay for rebuilding costs of the assigned grantee.
One hundred percent of your $30.00 donation will help in the rebuilding efforts. All “Angels and Grantees” will be publicly tracked and viewed on the Katrina500.com website. The DVD features personal accounts of the storm, the heroes who helped in time of need, and inspiration from over one hundred celebrities.
We ask that you all pick up a DVD at your church’s designated location, and request that family, friends, co-workers and community members help by donating as well. You can go to Katrina500.com to specifically see your church’s profile and the beneficiary of your generosity and collected love offering. You can always pick up additional DVDs on the site as well. Thank you for helping rebuild churches, homes and lives from this national tragedy. Although the news has moved on to newer topics, the displaced citizens are still suffering. We can rebuild by “Keeping the Faith” and your support.
