The Katrina500 Program
Thank you for taking the next step in helping a worthy church or elderly individual in the Gulf Coast. To sign up, please give us your information so that we can contact you and put you on the path to helping. We are concerned citizens dedicated to repairing 500 churches and 500 homes owned by the elderly and who were affected by Hurricane Katrina. We need your help!
This program utilizes 100% of all the proceeds from the DVD “Keeping the Faith” as a seed and tool to acquire additional financial support to aid in the repairs of homes damaged by Hurricane Katrina. Putting Gulf Coast citizens back into their homes and churches is the ultimate goal!
Each “Angel” or participating church will supply a $2,000 love offering to pay for the manufacturing cost of 1000 DVDs/units. The DVDs will act as a seed to generate a $30.00 donation per DVD which will accumulatively total $30,000. All contributions will be paid to support this program. Each grantee will use a certified contractor to make approved repairs, once the funds are secured in the bank. Total repair costs will be listed on the website for all to see. We will secure “Angels” and “Grantees”, one at a time until the goal of repairing 1000 structures is complete.
- Angels agree to comply with the terms of the program
- Acquire 1000 DVDs at manufacture cost of $2.00 each (for a total of $2,000.00)
- Present the DVD to your congregation and urge them to help by participating
- Use DVD as a free give-a-way seed to acquire $30.00 donation per DVD
- You send collected donations to distributing bank in Los Angeles
- You agree to have your profile or churches profile spotlighted on Website
- You agree to help the next grantee line that is listed on site and be teamed up with them
